The Master Lock 1488EURDAT Garage Door Security Kit consists of a round, hardened steel, hidden shackle padlock (71mm diameter), a steel security bar with a vinyl protective cover and high-security screws. 

It has been optimised for securing garage doors. The inclusion of a vinyl cover ensures that it is protected from the elements and is, therefore, suitable for outdoor use. Furthermore, this security kit is intended for concrete base application making it particularly well suited for fitting in front of garage doors. The bar unit locks onto the solid steel base with the padlock and can be adapted to suit a variety of applications due to the inclusion of the expandable security raw bolts.

With regards to the rounded, steel padlock, it features a 6-pin cylinder, which increases its level of security by providing greater resistance to the effects of picking, and a hidden shackle, which protects it against the effects of cutting.
