To this end, the ABUS 70IB Padlocks are double bolted and self-locking; they also feature a precision pin cylinder and paracentric keyway which resists picking.
The ABUS 70IB’s brass padlock bodies and stainless steel shackles are both protected by a shock-absorbing, weather-resistant vinyl coating, ensuring that these padlocks are suitable for use in environments that will place them near dirt and water. These padlocks are marine grade: they feature rust-resistant inner components and drainage channels which help to protect the locking mechanism from water and sediment.
