ABUS has issued this padlock with a GPS (Global Protection System) rating of eight and therefore advises that this padlock is suitable for securing items of a higher value and/or items that are at a greater risk of theft.  It is suitable for locking doors, gates, cupboards, and toolboxes.

The ABUS 80TI/60 TITALIUM™ Padlock’s six-pin precision cylinder, paracentric keyway, and double-bolted shackle all resist manipulation and add to this padlock’s security.  

To improve this padlock’s strength, as well as ensure that it remains both lightweight and cost-effective, its body has been constructed from a TITALIUM™. TITALIUM™ is an alloy, developed by ABUS, consisting of aluminium and titanium. Further to this, the ABUS 80TI/60 TITALIUM™ Padlock features a hardened steel shackle with a NANO PROTECT™ coating and chrome-plated cylinder plugs, features which help to both strengthen the padlock and protect it from corrosion.
